Series I and SDIRA

Hello you two! We are longtime supporters and clients and have open several successful SDIRAs with your guidance. We are wondering if it’s possible to use our checkbook-type LLC SDIRA to purchase US Series I savings bonds? These are generally not purchasable using normal IRA structures, as they require a specific account be set up on the US treasury‘s website. It appears practical and simple to do this, however, using the LLC entity. Do you to have any experience with these in the SDIRA setting?
