My husband and I each have self directed accounts at Directed IRA. He has about $18k in regular IRA acct. I have a Roth IRA with $50k (all currently invested with Grant Cardone) and a regular IRA with $54k. I plan to transfer the $54k to my Roth acct this year. I also have a SEP through my business with $17k in it. We are planning on buying real estate in Belize and resell while offering seller financing. Should I transfer the SEP to my Roth account before I create the multi member LLC as my husband will not be adding a lot more to his account? He has a PERA pension acct with current employer and makes his contributions through that. So to maximize the amount in the LLC for real estate purchases, I’m thinking I should do the transfer before creating the LLC. Is this logical?
